Featuring high quality construction with a ball bearing supported hardened steel shaft and slotted 12-pole design, it makes an ideal choice for pilots who are thinking about electric flight but may be worried about a lack of performance. The Power 25 motor is a smooth, quiet, high performance alternative to .25size glow engines, and powerful enough to power models weighing 3 to 5.5lb (1.4-2.5kg) or .15 glow engine size 3D airplanes up 3.5lb (1.6kg) requiring up to 550 watts of power, and it’s an especially a good match for scale models weighing between 4lb (1.8kg) and 5lb (2.2kg) This outrunner is constructed from top quality materials, with a hardened steel shaft, the only wearing parts in the system are the bearings, and these have been rated for hundreds of hours of usage. Silicone covered wire with gold connectors ensures that there is maximum current flow to maximise performance. The external radial rotor design of this motor with front shaft makes for easy mounting, with the ability to change shaft direction easily as a complete set of mounting hardware and aluminium motor mount is included.
