The Bantam BC6-10 is a new breed of charger designed primarily for LiPo users utilising up to 6S 22.2v battery packs, which require a charger that is capable of charging high capacity packs without the wattage deficit that most field chargers experience. The BC610 offers a whooping 200 watts output that would allow a 6S 9000mAh LiPo to be charged at 1C or two 6S 4500mAh to be charged simultaneously in parallel at 1C. The BC6-10 requires a sturdy 12 - 15v input.

BID system stands for Battery IDentification System. A small, lightweight BID chip is assigned to each battery; the chip stores all the relevant data for charging and discharging that pack perfectly. For use with Power Peak Fun Charger.

The LiPo TOP Equalizer is looped in between the LiPo charger and the LiPo battery itself. During the charge process the Equalizer monitors the individual series-connected LiPo cells in the pack and automatically brings them to the same voltage level. This is necessary because the individual cells vary slightly in their state of charge, or voltage level, when they are discharged. Overcharging or deep-discharging LiPo batteries causes permanent cell damage. The parameters for final charge voltage and charge current are set on the charger. In contrast to the familiar voltage controllers, the Equalizer starts correcting voltage differences as soon as the charge process starts.

This unit is a high quality switch mode power supply with a particularly smooth output current, making it suitable for use with almost all 12v input chargers available today. Using switch mode technology gives greater efficiency and reduses the weight and size compared to other systems.

The Schulze LiPoBal08 (8-cells) resp. Schulze LiPoBal14 (14-cells) is a Balancer with newest technology. It is a genuine balancer which analyses the cells connected to it, and matches them to each other after the first minute of charging. The result: faster matching of the cell voltages, faster full detection, reduced heat generation.
